Essential Oils that Supports Respiratory System (not preventive or cure)

Essential Oils Philippines - In our present situation right now while the world is battling this covid19 pandemic, we would like to share some tips that you can use to have that relief if you have some occasional respiratory discomforts like difficulty in breathing. There are recommended essential oils that we can use to clear the passage airways as we breathe air or improve air quality in our room space.

How to use these essential oils?

 

Aromatically using a diffuser


-choose only ONE essential oil from the list above
-add up to 5 drops of your chosen essential oil to the diffuser.
-you may use Copaiba along with two other essential oils above. Add 3 drops of each essential oil. Diffuse as normal.

 

Topically with gentle massage


-do a skin patch test first for 24 hrs. Put 1 drop of essential oil diluted in a carrier oil on your open elbow and observe for any skin allergy or irritation. If no reactions, proceed to the next step.
-Choose only ONE essential oil from the list above. In a small glass bowl, use 30 ml of your chosen carrier oil, say, a fractionated coconut oil and add 6 drops of your chosen essential oil to dilute it (1% dilution). Mix it for 10 seconds.
-Apply the oil in your chest area while doing a gentle rub or massage from the throat too.

other ratios;

-Try 3 drops of Copaiba and 3 drops of Peppermint, or 3 drops lavender and 3 drops oregano, or 2 drops of lemon, 2 drops lavender and 2 drops of Breathe doTERRA diluted in carrier oil.
-Try 6 drops of On Guard doTERRA diluted in carrier oil
-Try 6 drops of Germ Fighter from PlantTherapy diluted in carrier oil
-Try 6 drops of Thieves by Young Living diluted in carrier oil

**Always dilute it with a carrier oil before applying direct on the skin say with a 1% dilution or always do a skin patch test if you like topical.

Internally by Ingestion



-For beginners, it is best to consult a Certified Essential Oil Specialist or Aromatherapist. Not all essential oils are safe for internal use. There are only a few select essential oils that are safe orally but also on a controlled dosage.

*The IFA does not recommend ingesting essential oils as safe, yet.

Toxicity level is reached when you have more than the recommended dosage taken internally within 24 hrs. It is definitely unsafe.
